About Us: Our Classes
Our classes have been developed and fully tested over the past 5 years in both our studios, in care homes and in community settings. Our fully trained, compassionate teachers use our Art in A Suitcase product to deliver structured art classes to people living with dementia and the most vulnerable in our society.
Each class has a Teacher, assistant & Staff member from each location or a carer present. The classes can give the key carer a respite, by allowing another member of the family to take part in the activity. Classes are highly structured with easily recognisable subject matter and the painting is developed over a number of easy to follow stages. Strong, contrasting colours and quality art materials are used and the finished picture is mounted and signed. Each class lasts an hour with a maximum of 8 participants (plus any carers).
